The search for the holy grail....

So I'm looking for a villa for DH, DC (2 and 6mo) and me. Warm climate (not UK!), pool (preferably private, only so it's easy to be in and out of it without traipsing away from the villa, and being able to sit by it when kids are napping etc), and restaurant(s) nearby. Doesn't have to be near beach but would be nice if it was.

Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations?

Kalkan in Turkey. Stuffed with villas. Lovely food, child friendly etc etc.

But can be v hot & humid in August.

Oh thanks! Yes I wondered if Turkey might be too hot, particularly with an 8 month old (realised my post says 6 months - he'll be 8 months by August).

Turkey will be hot but we always go that time of year and our girls have been fine. Yalikavak is a lovely area, load of really nice villas there.

Playa Blanca, Lanzarote though August would be hot - perfect otherwise.
