Does anyone know if you can take a PSP in hand luggage?

We're flying from Heathrow tomorrow and I have just bought DH a PSP for his birthday. The handluggage list on the baa site doesn't list gaming consoles as one of the electronic items allowed in hand luggage but I'm not keen on putting it in the suitcase as I've had stuff stolen from my luggage before.

Thought i'd post here on the offchance someone knows otherwise I'll try and contact BA.

I wouldn't have thought so. I suspect you'll have to put it in the hold, in your main suitcase.

I think you can, when I flew home yesterday there were people with PSPs and on the way out IIRC

I would have thought so, no different to laptops , and you see plenty of them.
