Hols in Wigan/Chester/Blackpool etc help needed

Hiya, we're off to Wigan next Friday and will be staying there for 10 days so looking for some things to do and if anyone knows of any offers at places. We will be going to Chester zoo and i get free entrance there anyway and will go to blackpool and Gullivers which i've heard is good. Where else would you suggest especially if the weather is not good. The girls i'm taking with me are 8,2 and 10 months so a bit of a mix. We're up seeing family and don't mind travelling out a bit maybe an hour and a half or so. Thanks in advance.

Wigan pier museum used to be great. you get to sit in a Victorian classroom and be ticked off by a strict teacher.

Martin mere nature reserve if they like ducks

walk up Rimington pike, there's an old stately home ruin which kids like running around.
