Short haul holiday with 2 toddlers - September

Hello, Any suggestions for a short haul holiday with 2 toddlers (3 and 18mths) and 2 in-laws. Bit of sunshine if possible, ideally some children's facilities (e.g. pool, good indoor and/or outdoor play area) on site or nearby but don't need kids club - both work full-time and want to spend time with the little ones plus having in-laws around helps.

Had a look at Martinhal in the Algarve but 2,400 euros for self-catering house for a week. That feels like we'd be paying for lots of facilities we're not using (kids club, sports facilities, children's facilities in restaurants).

We went to Pollensa, Mallorca when our twins were 10mo in September a couple of years ago, we rented a villa within walking distance of the town. The beach is a short drive away, but the villa had a pool and massive grounds, and it was nice to be able to either walk into town in early evening or stay in and have BBQs etc. It's not on the website anymore so can't share the link for the villa but would definitely recommend Pollensa as an option, and Villa Select or James Villas are good companies.

We're off the Portugal this year (June) and staying at Baia Da Luz, haven't been yet so can't tell you whether its any good! Is self catering apartments within a resort.

I think Martinhal is in Sagres? it's really windy there, wouldn't recommend Sagres with DCs, you'll be constantly wiping sand out of little eyes!

Thanks Ceeveebee. Oh, windy in Sagres? So many reviews about Martinhal talk about it being a wonderful place for families but I was just finding it hard to justify the expense. Ok, so Pollensa. I'll have a look. And maybe at Center Parcs in France - will get the facilities and a nice region (maybe the Alsace one) but maybe just not the sunshine.

Menorca is nice for little ones - good short flight too.

I'd recommend the Insotel Punta Prima in Menorca with First Choice. Perfect resort and complex for toddlers and a short transfer from the airport.
If you search on here you'll find it mentioned on a few threads, a few times by me, as we went there last October and loved it!
