Anyone there right now or been before at this time of year and can tell me how chilly the evenings are? Cardi OK or will I need legs covered and a chunky knit/jacket?

Going at the end of the week ...please tell me it's warm and sunny during the day ??

We've been there at Easter before and also going next week. It got quite chilly at night last time. I'd pack a light jacket/fleece/waterproof and trousers/jeans/long skirts for nights out. Unless you have heating in your apartment/villa, I'd also pack long pjs for the kids - assuming you're taking kids with you!

We had a varied week of weather, with a couple of days of quite warm sunshine (warm enough for the kids to dip their legs in the sea), a couple of wet days and a couple of mixed days. Take sun cream though. We ended up turning quite pink after the first day, as we didn't think it was hot enough to burn!

Which resort are you going to?

Oh no. I thought that daytime would be great weather, we will be in a villa with a pool so was expecting to be in it all the time to cool off. I thought the evenings might be on the chilly side but daytime too?!?! Noooooo

I went one year for the last week of April, it was cloudy and about 17 degrees during the day and light jacket weather in the evening. We hired a car and did lots of sightseeing.

The good news calamity is that if you are going right now the weather is lovely between 20 and 25 degrees for the next week. You can get anything at this time of year and it doesn't look like there is any rain due.

If it helps? Have a lovely time. :)

Sorry Calamity, but you did ask! If we're lucky it will be hot and sunny, but I haven't ever found it warm enough to swim in an unheated pool in Europe until at least May, and that was in Greece.

calamitygin · 08/04/2014 22:15

I did! the weather does look good at the moment so fingers crossed. Our pool is heated though what that actually means I don't know. I've been in 'heated' pools before at this time if year and they were bloody freezing!

Either way i'll be packing jumper, Mac and jeans as well as bikini and flip flops!

Hope you have a great time too

Oh if it's a heated pool you might be ok. I've been packing tonight and have a range of outfits from swimming costumes to waterproof coats packed!
