Heading to Lake Tahoe in July with dh and ds. Can someone tell me where is best, south, north, east shore? We would like to do some hiking and some swimming in the lake/lounging by the lake. Don't want it to be somewhere really busy but also not in the back of beyond.
My head is full reading the guide book and I can't decide what would suit us best.
Any advice gratefully received.
