We are thinking of going to London in 3 weeks time. Can anybody give us advice on
i) travelling by car (parking) or train from North
ii) B&Bs with family rooms nearish restaurants etc
iii) Travelling on tube with buggy. Can't say I remember too many lifts but then I have never looked for them pre baby.

Having serious doubts about going now. Train is really expensive, cheaper to fly! Car is obviously easier, but parking is not likely to be easy....

Have you thought of Travelodge/Holiday Inn express. (I've heard good things about the ?Travelodge in County Hall for families but don't think it's that cheap.)
What sort of pushchair do you have? Mclaren type ones fine, can get a Mountain Buggy on tube but prefer it when there is 2 of us (but I do have baby and toddler). Don't rely on people offering to help! Can't comment on B&B or travelling from the N. sorry

Travelodge is a brilliant idea. Tbh we have decided not to go. It would be an expensive trip just to see the Howard Hodgkin exhibition. Also it's no fun stuck in a hotel room with a baby. Will go when we have babysitters.
