Hi all,
just that really. My dad has incurable cancer although is stable at the moment and not getting any worse. My parents live abroad and he wants to come back to the UK for what will likely be his last time and have a nice holiday. He will be staying with me and my family and I will be taking a lot of time off to make sure he has memorable trip. He also, whilst he's back in Europe, wants to go to a major city abroad just to have a look around.
Paris, Bruges, Prage maybe? He's not sure really and neither am I although I am looking forward to going somewhere. Can anybody recommend anywhere that I can take an older (although not elderly yet) man with reduced mobility (not limited totally) and where there are some cultural things to do and with some reasonable social activities (restaurants, bars etc).
He can walk, and I will have a frame and a wheelchair in case he needs it and of course we can rest when he needs to but am just wondering if there is anywhere in particular someone can recommend?
