Spain with teenagers

I'm looking to go to Spain (possibly Costa Del Sol) with my family of 5 (me, DH, DCs aged 14, 13 and 10). We usually go to Menorca self catering, but would like to try mainland Spain this year.

We are looking for fairly cheap and cheerful, and ideally would like a self catering apartment with 2 or 3 bedrooms, but the DCs have got to an age where they need a bit more than just a pool or beach. Wouldn't particularly need a kids club as such, just somewhere that offers a few kids acitivites, ie football matches, table tennis, pool table, arcade etc.

Not sure where to even start really. I like fairly quiet resorts, and like to able to walk to restaurants of an evening. Has anyone got any recommendations please ?

What about Here. Our DC are 14 and 12 and although we took them to the cultural delights of Barcelona their highlight of the holiday was the 2 days we spent at the theme park . The two nearby resorts are Salou and Cambrils. Cambrils I haven't been to Salou but most of my family have been to Cambrils and loved it- quieter and a bit more upmarket than Salou. Both are easy train journeys in to Barcelona where football fans can visit the famous Camp Nou stadium and there is great shopping as well as sightseeing for the rest of the family.
