Hi,

Looking for a nice villa/apartments with pool in Algarve, near to a nice town and beaches. Large hotel complexes not my thing really.

Any suggestions?

Fonte Verde: www.ultimatealgarve.com/developments/fonteverde-boliqueime-vilamoura

We stayed there a year and a half ago and it's brilliant for families, the reviews on tripadvisor says it all really. I have a contact to book a villa there if you are interested, just PM me. Enjoy!

My friend has a lovely villa near a fab little village called Carvoeiro

Masses of restaurants, some great bars, family friendly, not nightclubby at all

We had a fantastic time, will happily pm you with the details if you would like

Angel1976, that's where we've just booked, as in, an hour ago! Looks fab, did you go via Ultimate Algarve?

We go to Carvoiero...book through Owners Direct.
Have just booked a villa with pool on Rocha Brava...we went last year, and the villa was stunning.

Tempomar appartments in little village called Burgau, right at the far Western end of the Algave just inside the national park so no massive holiday complexes or night clubs, just nice little holiday village with lovely beach.
Appartments a little bit old, but have have everything that you need and very generously sized. Has lovely huge pool and palm fringed grounds. Excellent value for money. (It's actually much nicer than it looks on their not brilliant website):
