Shopping in Singapore?

Hi is there anything worth looking out for in Singapore, going over for Christmas, and would like to get some nice treats do myself but is it worth it, money wise?

Also are there any hidden little gems that I should know about?!

not really if you are British, same shops as at home and same prices. The days of cheap goods in Asia are long gone unless you need contact lens solution (Bizarre, isn't it?)

why spend time shopping when there is so much to see?
