I have one that I have paid 20% deposit on and can't take. Not bothered about the deposit, just use it. I would rather see it taken than have to let very nice owners down - you'd be doing me a favour honestly if you take our holiday.
We went here last minute for a week last year and loved it so much we booked it for two weeks this year commencing 15th July. Children, then 6 and 5 loved it
It is in St. Palais Sur Mer, near Royan, Western France (Vendee Region). 8 hour drive from Calais. Opposite sandy beach, other fab beaches around, St Palais Sur Mer and Royan are lovely little uncommercial towns.
From the accomodation within 5 minutes stroll are lovely restaurents and a pretty walk, a few things for tots do do and nice relaxing bars - no sky tv, football attire etc. This areas is west facing with beautiful sunsets and no traffic. Can hire bikes and follow cycle path into the national forest,also a zoo there and lighthouse on the beach you can visit and sand dunes next to the forest.
Fab Fab Fab - gutted we can't go.
This holiday is in fact a v upmarket massive mobile home. Biggest and newest on the site on the best pitch with its own private hedged garden, bbq, table and chairs. It sleeps 6 in 3 double rooms. All bed linen provided. 3 pools on site, with full time lifeguard. Everything on the site was immaculate - we are v fussy ! I was elated when I got there last year as it was so so different that I expected.
Also have one of these within 6 minutes drive of site, one for children, one for adults - my kids are still talking about it a year later.
