Do they have bike hire/organised walks or dry skiing in the mountains - summertime and activities on lakes in Austria?

Anyone been?

What sort of accommodation is available? I like to swim.

Yes!
Lots of bike hire places for flat biking or mountain biking. Lake swimming in most lakes in Austria. There are beach club things.

We have been to Zellamsee and loved it. Apartments or hotel (we did apartment) and lots to do. The ski lift companies organise guided walks - just look at the summer section of the website. Also adventuree hiking with kids. You can swim in the lovely lake or go to a separate swimming lake with slides and kids play areas etc.

We are totally mountain holiday people not beach now.

There is summer skiing on glacier at kaprun and also tobogganing winter/summer on a track thing.

Fab cake and food too!

We have just got back from a week in Italy and a week in Austria. Was fab.

Stayed at st Johann in Tirol. Have stayed in Innsbruck before. Would recommend it, so much to do. We got cable cars up mountains and walked down, always lots of kids play grounds up the top if mountains.

Didn't cycle this year but usually do. The swimming pools are great, loads of slides, diving boards. The one at Ellmau is our favourite. In fact, Ellmau would be a great place to be based.

We visited Zell am See but it was very busy.

Love Innsbruck, saw the Slovakian ski jumping team practising there this summer, was amazing!
