Whipsnade v London zoo

Has anyone been to both? If so which is better we
have 2 dss 3.7 and 17 months xxx

Whipsnade, London Zoo is very tired in my opinion.

At Whipsnade the animals have more spacious enclosures so a nicer environment for them, and there are more animals so better value!

THank you for starting this thread as I have the same dilema.
One friend told me that London Zoo was rubbish and Whipsnade much much better.

My ds are junior school age and 16...

It depends what you want to see, if you want bigger animals such as elephants then in pretty sure they are only at Whipsnade.

I haven't been to whipsnade but think lomdon zoo is amazing. It's had an expensive new tiger enclosure built and the animals seem very happy to me. Penguin beach is a favourite.
