My DH turns 40 in October. He fancied going to John O'Groats (??) but I've put a dampner on that cos it could be totally miserable at that time of year, and it's a long way with not a lot else to do! 1 yo and 3yo coming with us. Looking for ideas of places to go for a long weekend. Open to UK or abroad, though not flying more than a few hours, and not too expensive. Any ideas appreciated. South of Spain has come up in a few searches but not sure where to go exactly.
