We have hol booked about 1.5 hr from alicante flights are considerably cheaper the day before we can get into villa. It would be cheaper to go the day before and stay overnight I hotel then get hire car in am and off. Have done before and decreases stress too. Does anyone have any hotel recommendations a short taxi drive from the airport, when we did it in Granada airport had lovely pm. Arrived 22.30 Spanish time, got taxi to little town nearby (airport quite far from granada) everyone in bars, tapas etc so we had stroll few drinks an ice cream etc, went to bed picked hire car up next morning - no hassle
