Eurodisney but in a Paris based hotel??

Going to visit family in Normandy in Summer & on the way home we would love to take a 3 night detour & take DCs to Eurodisney but having looked at their hotel prices I'm looking for a cheaper way. Would also love to spend day in Paris!! Has anyone done this before & if so what's a good hotel to stay in Paris & where's best to buy park tickets from. Thank you

We stayed just outside DLP in Bussy st Georges. About 40 mins into Paris by train and 10 to DLP by train , bus or car. Alternatively the Val d' Europe area is a stop closer to DLP. Most of the usual chains are around there.

Got tickets from Disney website in UK. How are you getting to France as I think P & O do an offer for tickets.

We bought our tickets from the uk website too.

Can't recommend hotels but it is very easy to get to Disneyland from the centre of Paris.

We bought our tickets from the Disney shop here in the UK and stayed here, its not an official Disney hotel but was very close.

Park tickets are generally cheaper bought on French ticket websites and printed off as e-tickets, posted, or collected from stores in Paris or Val D'Europe.

The Disney website is not the cheapest. If buying in £ sites like Attractions Tickets Direct post proper tickets with no extra charges, usually cheaper than Disney.

If visiting for 3 days or more it can be cheaper to buy an Annual Passport. CEMultiavantages are offering a kids Fantasy AP for ?35 when you buy an adult one. APs give you extra benefits like entrance to Extra Magic Hours, free parking, and discount in the Disney shops and restaurants.

There are quite a few options for accommodation offsite in Val D'Europe, Bussy Saint Georges or Torcy, depending on how many people in your family, and whether you want a hotel or self catering.

Look at -
Campanile Bussy Saint Georges, Kyriad Torcy, Ibis and Etap hotels in Val D'Europe, Hi-Park Serris, Adagio Aparthotel, Hotel Elysee, Sejours & Affaires Rive Gauche, Villa Bellagio Bussy Saint Georges, Residhome Prestige Val DE, Hipotel Marne La Vallee, Golden Tulip Bussy Saint Georges. Read reviews of the hotels / apartments on Trip Advisor. They are all near a railway station for the RER A or free shuttle bus service to Disneyland from Val D'Europe. There is a huge shopping mall with Auchan hypermarket in Val DE, so easy for self catering.

It is easy to visit Paris from Disneyland or the above stations using the RER A train. It takes approx 40 mins from Chessy /Disneyland to central Paris.
