Night away for 3 Mums without the kids!

Can anyone suggest a destination for a night away for 3 Mums? We've all recently stopped breastfeeding (ok so I haven't sorted that part yet but thats another story).

We fancied Brigton but all the hotels we checked won't take a booking for just a Saturday night. Any ideas ?

Bigton? meant Brighton....and we need to not venture too far from London.

what about a local health spa

check the local paper as they sometimes have great weekend special offers etc

have fun!

i also meant to say before a lot of hotels dont like taking bookings for 3 people if they dont have single rooms or family rooms

search on lastminute.com for hotels with triple rooms or double/twin and single and it might throw up a few suggestions

there are other good hotel search sites but theyve gone right out my head at the moment

Thanks - nice idea, but I think we really need an "unhealthy" weekend seeing as we've all been breastfeeding and pregnant since I can't remember when! Thats why we thought of Brighton.

Might check lastminute though.

Try laterooms.com too - sounds like a fun weekend!

Bournemouth? Loads of hotels to choose from. I think the Russell Court do triple rooms and it's right by the beach and town centre. I've never stayed there, but we had an awayday there from work and the food was nice!

Travel logdges/premier inns or whatever they're calling themselves these days usually have twin/double beds plus a sofa bed. Not very glam I know but they will almost certainly take a booking for just a sat night.
Have fun!
