Hello, i have booked a lakeside lodge for us, but after reading some reviews - they don't sound the nicest?! Should I upgrade to the new style lodges instead!? X

The new style lodges are lovely, but at the end of the day you don't go to Centerparcs for the lodges. When we go we are barely in the lodge. That said, a few years ago we stayed in a standard lodge at Whinfell and the standards were much poorer than the other Centerparcs and we never went back. Some of the light fittings were dangerous to say the least, they had electrical wires exposed.

Just back from Whinfellesterday newer stayed in the cheapest lodge which was absolutely fine, sofas a bit shabby but all clean. Only used it for sleeping and some meals as out n about all day and shattered at night-sofas were more than comfy enough for parking ones tender backside (all that cycling!) to quaff wine!!
