Cala Torret near Binibeca Menorca

This may not be of use, but my very first holiday abroad was to Cala Torret, in about 1985, and we have returned to Menorca several times since. We loved it, the beach is lovely, really clear water and shallow water goes quite far out. The apartments are mainly privately owned, so you get a good mix of people.

We ate in a restaurant called Derek & Phillip's which is still there but called D&P's with new owners. There is a supermarket, quite pricey but not overly so.

My folks visited last year, and still rave about it.
