Easyjet - car seat + frame one item or two?

Hi all,

This is my first post so hope I get it right!! Smile

We are travelling on easy jet with our 10 week old next week. I know you're allowed to take 2 of either car seat, pushchair or travel cot... My question is, if I take my car seat and just pram frame (I have a Quinny) can I count this as 1 item and then also take the travel cot?

Any thoughts or experiences much appreciated!!

Cheers Grin

they might count the quinny frame as the pushchair part. Why not phone and ask them

its easyjet the home of charging for everything. they will see it as 2 items for sure. you can ask them but this has been asked on here before and the answer was two. why do you need a travel cot? could the place you are staying provide one? most accomodation does these days. if with family can you borrow one?

They will want two items. That's how they work. Is there any chance at all of you getting the Quinny frame and carseat together into some kind of travel bag? Then you would get that through + a travel cot. If you turn up with '3' items you will struggle to be honest. Easyjet check in agents are not the most imaginative. I once had booked and paid for 6 items to be checked in, I turned up with 5 items, they wanted to reduce my weight allowance (but not refund me anything), that's how ridiculous they can be. Only other idea is, can you take the car seat on as one item of hand luggage? If so then you can take the frame and cot as the two pieces of babay luggage. Good luck.
