Where shall I go, where shall I go????

Just coming out of double childcare costs and at the point where we can justify A HOLIDAY!!!! Children's passports back today, all systems go for a week at Easter. Where can we go? Won't be able to hire a car, so would like somewhere where there's a resonable amount on hand or a short distance away. Like to keep costs pretty low, dds are 3 and 5. Any ideas lovely mumsnetters?

Well, most of Europe won't be that warm by Easter, what about canary islands? Short flight and may be able to get a cheap package, make sure pool is heated though at this time of year

Thanks - I am now thinking maybe Lanzarote or the Algarve. Not sure whether to book something now if happy with the price or hold my nerve to see if the prices go down closer to the time. Pool!! Just the thought of it makes me excited.
