spain - what can i get out there - what essentials to take

im going to spain in july with my dd who will be 11 months. what essentials do i take and what can i get out there (bearing in mind expense).

I reckon you'll be able to get everything out there pretty easily, bar formula (other countries don't always have exactly the same formula milks as UK). I'ld be surprised if Spain was significantly dearer than the UK.

If she eats commercial baby food, take it with you - in Spain it has added salt, according to Senora Postrophe who lives there (she used to get visitors to bring organic ones from the UK when her kids were at that stage) - possibly sugar too, I'm not sure.

take your nappies with you cos i think they are more expensive there. To be honest, i take most things with me, food, buggie, shade, bottles, sterilising tablets etc
