Holiday recommendation (toddlers and parents!)

We are looking to holiday n May with 1 yr old and 3 yr old. We normally go for a villa near a nice town that we can walk to in the eve and have early dinner with kids. But both are now pretty busy, so that option doesn't seem so appealing, but we are not sure if we like the family friendly resort idea as they might start to feel a bit restrictive (no village/ town, limited restaurant choice etc), however the kids clubs are appealing as our two could have a few hours in the morning to entertain them.

Any thoughts - villas with some kids club options attached?? Are these unheard off?

Have a look at Farmstays. We did one in Germany last Summer and DD loved it. Still self catering but lots to do on the farm to keep the children occupied.

There are a couple in Majorca but they are quite popular so you may not get anything this year.

I think you may struggle with a villa with kids club. You could think of Self catering at a resort that has kids clubs...perhaps somewhere like lykia world in turkey, or else there are the full blown all inclusive holidays like the first choice holiday villages or the thompson sensetori resorts. Both have kids clubs for 3+ yrs and creche facilities for the under 3's.
