Calling Lake Garda experts .. Where to stay?

I have convinced my DH to go to Lake Garda this summer. We are planning to go for 10 days with visit to Verona and Venice. Will be flying into Verona and flying back from Venice. Could do Venice for 2-3 days either at before going to Lake Garda or after staying in Lake Garda. Need self catering accomadation in Lake Garda preferably near the southern part of the Lake as will be going to Gardaland, aquaparc etc.,
Please help..

we camped at lake garda it was perfect, but we had our car with us, but there might be ready made cabin style camping in the area now. back to google i guess.
