We like:
Small town / village
Walking distance to beach (i.e. not a villa half way up a mountain)
Reasonable drive from airport (max 1 hour)
Things to do in area (historical / cultural)
We definitely do not like:
Large anonymous resorts
Anywhere with a restaurant serving "British food"
Places with nothing to do except lie on a beach (I would but DH won;t!)
Ideas?
