Any tips for our first long drive with dd (12 wks)?

We're setting off for France next week with DD and this will be the first time we've driven with her for more than about 1.5 hours. We're driving down to the eurotunnel from London and then have about a 6-7 hour drive on the other side (well, that's how long it was pre-dd). I'd appreciate any tips to make sure dd is happy on our journey.

I would just keep driving if she is sleeping and/or happy. If she gets in a tizz then stop, go for a walk, give her a feed etc. Only other thing is babies can get quite hot in first stage carseats if in it for a while as surrounded by plastic so light clothing and a blanket are the best option imo. Oh and get a singalong CD/tape, it will drive you mad but the baby will like it!
