I wonder if anyone else has been to turkey with young babies???
I have had this hol booked for a year, now only 8 wks til we depart I am panicking! sounds silly I am sure, but I am worrying about buying baby food, nappies etc when we are there. We are going all inclusive, but what if the food isnt suitable for dd? also any advice on what jabs may be needed. I have never been to Turkey so dont know what to expect....have any of you been?

I have learnt to take own nappies!!! We bought them once on holiday and DS had leaked within 15mins - he would have been better off naked!!
Food should be ok as they tend to cater for tourists but in the past I have taken the jars of cod/chicken/beef and then added fresh vegtables to it when we were there. Also, the powder meals which you add water to are great in case of emergencies!! Hope you have a lovely holiday!! Where abouts you going?? We went to Ole Deniz and it was stunning.

Haven't been to Turkey so can't help there, but hace been on couple of foreign trips with DS (9mths). I defintely think you should take some nappies, nappy sacks, wipes to start with so you don't have to spend the 1st few days worrying about supermarkets. I take disposable bibs (Boots, Tescos..) so you don't have to bother with so much washing. I also took little bags of Ready Brek & couscous - that can be cooked by adding hot water / milk, as well as rice cakes & bread sticks.

You weren't planning on taking much luggage for yourselves were you?!

I live in Turkey and am returning tomorrow.
First went when my baby was about 3 mths old.
Don't worry,everything will be fine!
Even Turks have babies you know! Wink

Where are you going??
