Hotel in Paris with 2 young DC

Anyone know a nice not-too-'spensive hotel in Paris that is suitable for young DC? We're thinking of going in Feb/March so DC will be 2.5 and 9 months.

What area is best to stay? Ideally we would walk most places so should be close to some of the main tourist areas.

we stayed in the marmais area (think i've spelt it correctly). 5-10 min walk to nottre dam and the saine. suggest being fairly near the latter as there's a river boat that loops round and you can get a pass for several days and hop on/off at all the tourist places that are mainly dotted around the saine.

if you walk between all the tourist places you will be get very tierd.

batobus is the one you want. stops are marked on maps. one day pass is expensive but practically no more for several days.

if you go to louvre go in side entrance as no queues.
