5 days in Paris with 3 children...

We have 3 weeks off next summer but looks like our choices of gites will only be available for 2 weeks. I'm thinking about using the first week to go to Paris and then driving down south.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay that

1. we can drive to / park at
2. we can get adjoining rooms as we've got 3 boys but youngests is only 3 so can't have completely separate rooms
3. is convenient for metro / RER?

I often use the Ibis in Masion Lafitte a lovely little town just on the outskirts of Paris, but on the RER B line direct into Paris. There is free parking at hotel.
There are beautiful gardens around the Chateau Lafitte. It is the perfect mix of nice quiet French small town and Paris. Lovely Creperie in the centre of town.
