Stopover en route to Meribel ?

Can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel (2 kids aged 1 and 3)to stop overnight on our way to Meribel in February?

we are also going to meribel in february and have decided to take the train - can sleep on the night train from waterloo. then it is only an hour or so from moutiers. not sure if that is very family friendly however, you'll need to check it out. we lucky things are leaving dear son with granny.
