Looking for a cottage/lodge-type place for a long weekend next May - 2 adults & 3 kids. Thinking lots of natural wood, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, pref remote, pref by the sea, pref with hot tub! Some kind of unusually-designed eco-lodge thingie would be FAB - any ideas? Thank youuuu!

Am a bit late with this, but we stayed here recently - it was stunning and you can rent the whole thing and/or their converted barn. Absolutely beautiful, properly remote feeling and good eco credentials. We stayed in the house B&B but got the owner to show us the barn for possible future reference and I sooo want to go there now.

Not quite big enough and this one is big enough but no hot tub and maybe not unusual enough (but have stayed here and it's lovely!)

I've stayed at Airhouse lodges in the Scottish Borders. They're 5 star and have hot tubs. We celebrated my exH 40th their. It was amazing! Highly recommended!
