Recommendations please for Santa trip to Lapland

I am exhausted! Have been trawling the net for the 'best', Lapland - Santa 3/4 day break for me, DH, DD (6) and DS (4). Have read soooo many reviews - on MN, trip advisor etc and feel totally bamboozled by it all.
Any help by way of suggestions for good Companies to go with would be very much appreciated. We don't want to be packed onto a coach and herded round in large groups. Really want it to feel special, it will be a one time only experience.
Thanks in advance!!!

It really depends on budget but Canterbury travel is fab.

Thanks hf128219. That's where we started looking, but have read some bad reviews. Have read lots of good one too though!

Read some recent threads as there have been a few! We are going 16th dec with thomsons. I got a great deal in June £2208 for 4 days for four of us. I would hold off booking though - 2 weeks ago my holiday went down to £2100 but is currently £2880! I think this is peak booking time.

Thanks sunnyday123. I have read and read most posts and I think that's why I'm so confused. I think you're right to wait though. Smile

We went Canterbury travel and had a fab time - everything was part and parcel of experience. Two friends went within weeks of us but had to pay after "taster sessions" for all activities and the day started too early for children as they tried to fit in activities they missed down to plane delays.

Just to update anyone who may have read this with the same quandary. We did go with Canterbury travel and everything about our 3 day trip was brilliant. Mid January and my 2 are still talking about it. Everything that Canterbury Travel does is clearly only for Canterbury, never any other companies in our locations. Every day was different, magical for the little ones and well worth every penny!

I would be happy to answer any questions should you be considering this sort of trip. :-)
