I am just back from the most amazing self-catering place. We spent the weekend at \link{http://www.balbeg.co.uk/index.htm\Balbeg} and it was amazing. Sorry if this sounds like an advert I don't care. I am still on a high even though I am exausted playing host all weekend.
We had 12 in our party and splashed out on Rabbie Burns Lodge which has 7 bedrooms.
The properties are on a 300 acre estate and as it was a childrens holiday centre before there are 2 great play areas, with a tree house and a zip line as well as a monkey run. The place is surrounded by fields and forest and is a great place to open the door and let the kids run wild. The veiws are stunning, in the summer it would be great to just sit out on the decking or in the gardens.
The one we were in was so well kitted out, everything we needed and we all had a great time into the wee small hours.
It is quite pricey for the lodge we were in but split between 4 or 5 couples its not bad, it sleeps up to 15.
