Accommodation in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria

Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in Maspalomas? We have dd who will be just over 1 so were thinking of a resort with gardens/pools etc.

We're torn between one of the bungalow complexes and a half board hotel. Can anyone recommend anywhere?

We stayed at the Cay Beach Bungalows in Melonares when DD was 18 months old (through Thomson but don't think they do them anymore). This was a lovely complex and not too busy when we went (May). This was 6 years ago though! It was up the hill from Maspalomas (about 10 min walk). Lovely pools. There was no evening entertainment but we just put DD to bed in bedroom and we sat in living room watching tv and drinking wine.
