Epping Forest? Lee Valley Park?

Will be with 2 x 4yo and a 8yo. Which would be more fun and have more stuff to do (this weekend).

Or anywhere in that area you can suggest? We will be staying near Waltham Cross.

I live near both. Lee Valley is okay- but it's very large. I'm guessing you'd be in the Essex bit- and it's got nature and open spaces. I prefer Epping Forest. It's very large and a forest is often more fun then just a gigantic reserve type thing which Lee Valley is, and there are some ponds and lakes as well as open grassy spaces between trees. Good spots for picnics and a really fun day out.
