My friend is having terrible trouble finding a cheap B&B or Hotel in Liverpool for Saturday 18th March.

She's going clubbing so wants to be able to check out at, say, midday but most insist on 10.30am checkout or are too expensive.

Hope someone can help.....:)

hi depends what she wants but there is a campanile and a travelodge one on the dock road so she can walk back of a night. Think it is around

We stayed \link{http://www.throstlesnesthotel.co.uk/about.htm\here} at the beginning of the year. Not walking distance to the town centre but bus stop right outside and taxi's back home are cheap enough. Family run and won't try and chuck you out too early.

OMG - Scottie Road is not the best place for girlies to stay on their own esp. after coming back later in the morning after clubbing! Stick to the city centre hotels or those south of liverpool (sefton Park area) as this is prime student land! From a local!

there is a hotel formule 1 near the albert dock £22.50 per room. walking distance from all the clubs (garlands?)

there's also a youth hostel there

The ibis is lovely and cheap and also there is one called the formule1 which is similar and also cheap, the formule1 doesnt have ensuite but they arent hostel type scarey b&b things, they are quite trendy!
And when she has been clubbing, as long as she has visited the 'lobster pot' for a kebab and is suitably drunk - it will look like the ritz!!!

What a thread resurrection! But I found this hotel in Bootle the other week and it was lovely. Run by a lovely happy lady called Julie with its own parking.

It's a suburb in the North of the city, it's a bit of a mixed area being close to the docks but I felt safe where the hotel was and was given directions to a lovely little park for a jog.

I thought I'd update the thread since I looked through the other suggestions as part of my searching. Think Covid has knobbled a lot of smaller indie hotels Sad
