I just went onto Hotels.com and did a search on Pisa and filled in room requirements - obviously I didn't know the dates or kids ages. Then down the left hand side, you can specify where you want to centre your search so I chose the airport.

I haven't stayed in Pisa but stayed in a town about an hour and a bit away and went via Pisa on the train from the airport and also went in to see the tower etc. one late afternoon/evening. Lovely place and as I say very handy for the airport.

Have you left yet? We stayed in pisa at the Bologna. Really convenient and they'll pick you up at the airport and drop you back. Or to train station ..

We used hotels.com as recommended above a couple of years ago and got a family room at a small out of town hotel called Airone. Quite basic but absolutely fine. Very cheap. Food decent.

Just to add, we chose it for proximity to the airport as we were arriving quite late, and if being close to the airport is important to you this place would work
