You can do it online here, its the official site Don't use any others. Piece of piss. Costs about £14. Smile

Only use the official US government site that Pascha has linked.

All of your party will need an ESTA application; it costs $14 (around £9 sterling) per application and it will last for 2 years from date of issue. Before completing the application have to hand the numbers for each passport, flight number and details of the place where you will be staying.

(Ensure that your travel insurance gives good cover).

You have to use a credit card and, unless I've been very stupid (did ours yesterday), have to fill in each traveller individually, including payment details. Easy, but took bloody ages!
You will also need an address for where you're staying in the US. Not so easy for us, as we're travelling around, but you can just use your first night address.

A lot of the bogus (or rather rip-off) sites that charge you more than $14, use branding/logos that look very similar to the official one, so watch out.
