Turkey was the best holiday ever.

4 hours from Manchester.

Amazing food, hot and sunny, beautiful surroundings, plenty to do and see and lovely people. Plus pretty good value for money.

We stayed in ovacik, near hisaronu. Hisaronu was very lively and busy but still had a great time.

Olu deniz is very pretty and I also fancy Antalya.

Turkey does seem to have good value yet good quality AI hotels.

Main disadvantage (for us) is that most are out of town.

We stayed at the Royal Dragon near Side last year - would highly recommend

Remember if you go to Turkey you should consider travel vaccines. You may have to pay for some

KenDoddsDadsDog · 10/08/2012 22:24

Sensatori Tenerife or Sharm

GreenGoldSilverAndBronzeShadow · 11/08/2012 22:07

We've never been advised travel vaccinations for coastal Turkey Bugsy. Think it may only be if you are away from the coast / tourist areas.

bugsylugs · 15/08/2012 20:04

Always check re vaccines at GP . Should have hep a, tetanus if not upto date and consider typhoid. That's for turkey
