Hi everyone, Not quite sure the point of this thread. I'm going to Bulgaria in September. Just would like everyone to know. (I'm dead excited)Where is everyone else going this year and any tips on how to amuse a three year old. She drove me to the point of distraction last year.

workingmumnhs - thinking of booking to go to bulgaria next year. There are 8 adults and 8 kids, ages ranging from 18 months to 10. Do you think it's worth going? What did you think of it? Which resort/hotel did you stay in?

I went a long time ago and loved it - we went ski-ing. My impression is probably very out of date, but at the time they had just come out of communist rule. It was very un-spoiled then - no chains and very basic foods. Would definitely go back, hope it hasn't got too westernised.

We went to Bulgaria last year - skiing - lovely country but boy do they like their MEAT! If you're a veggie, best take some with you! We couldn't find a single shop selling fruit the whole time we were there!
