Anyone got any recommendations of the best place to buy foreign currency. I need to get Turkish lira for our holiday in August.

How much are you wanting to buy? larger amounts (c £400+) get a better rate online & lots of places will deliver to you.

ICE are v good.

\link{http://www.iceplc.com/cgi-bin/live/ecommerce.pl?site=iceplc.com&state=compare&menu=currency&dept_id=01&sub_dept_id=01&zone=ice\ICE website} - the min is £450 though, is that too much? (we don't usually take a lot of currency, we rely on credit cards & ATMs)

I always use Travelex. Order online and have it delivrerd to house for free (over £500).

they always seem to have the best rates.

However i have only used them for Euros and US dollars - can't comment on Turkish lira.

\link{http://www.saga.co.uk/money/travel-money.aspx\Saga} do free delivery on amounts over £300 & their exchange rate is almost as good as ICE's
