I'm not registered as disabled but a can't walk a great distance (a few metres) without the support of my husband. He has bought me a wheel chair but it's taken me a long time to stop feeling so self conscious when I'm sat in it being pushed around. Anyway, I've now got used to it and it's our 10th wedding anniversary coming up and seeing as we haven't been on a holiday for as long as I care to remember, I would like to surprise him by booking a coach tour to anywhere in the uk. I don't want to book a 'wheelchair' holiday on a specially designed coach as I would be able to get on and off an ordinary coach, but would need to stash the wheelchair in the luggage
compartment. Can anyone recommend a company or tour operator please? as google baffles me.
