Just wanted to know if anyone has travelled through Singapore airport with small children. My dd's will be 13months, and nearly 3. I have a double buggy, and wondered if they will let me have it at the gate to go through to my next flight? We're flying Qantas from Perth to London Heathrow.

Hi

you may have flown already as your post was a while ago but if not. When I last travelled 3 years ago London - Brisbane via Singapore airport with my 8 month old our buggy was transferred with the luggage so we did not see it till our final destination. However there were loads of buggys you could borrow in the transit lounge. They were single and not double but if you have a 3 year old hopefully they will be able to walk. Singapore airport is a good airport for kids as they often have entertainment laid on and if you have a long layover time you could consider checking into the airport transit hotel as you can book 6 hour blocks and have use of the pool. It was a great way to get refreshed i would book that in advance if you are thinking about it.

Good luck. I am now travelling back to Oz myself in a few months only this time with a 20month and a 4 year old aarrgghhh!!!
