Having a day trip to York tomorrow, with DD1 (3years) DD2 (nearly 9 months) my Brother and his wife.

We're going on the train so were restricted slightly,

what should we visit?

theres the train museum near the station which is free to get in and has a cafe etc in it.. that could take an afternoon if you wanted a good look round..
Or you could walk the walls but if you have pushchair might be a bit difficult..
The Castle Museum is good but your 3yr old might find it a bit boringa after a bit..
Or you could go down by the river, theres a nice walk along the side or you could take a boat tour trip..
hope thats helpful

York if FANTASTIC.

I would say, out of all the long weekends I've had in the UK, York was the best. So much to do, amazing history, great restaurants....

We went on a really hot weekend in August and it was the best.
