Anyone recommend a good day out with a 3 year old?

Hey everyone,

Now that the weather is improving (sort of), I am trying to find cheap days out for me and my 3 year old (with so much energy!!!)

I don't mind driving to places so any recommendations would be great!

Where in the country are you? Have you looked at national trust places? I know lots of lovely places to go for a day near me but I wouldn't travel a long way for. Picnic in the forest, lots of country parks with play trails, kids farms, etc everywhere!

I'm Essex but I have exhausted all our parks, farms and play areas around me so wondered if anyone had any other suggestions....
