well depends what you want, don't know the hotels but Slough, though unlovely, is handy for legoland. windsor is nearer & much nicer but generally has smaller b & b type places with few facs.

i stayed at crowne plaza at heathrow which was very nice and i got a reduction on entry tickets to legoland - give them a call they were very good have also stayed at novotel at heathrow on same deal worth looking into as entry fees can be very expensive.

Copthorne served the most disgusting buffet food for families on a Saturday night that I have ever seen. It was no better than pigswill. And the breakfast was excellent the next morning so what they were playing at I don't know.
The menus on display for the corporate clientele during the week looked nice too.

We've stayed at the Copthorne. It was fine and I am happy to recommend it. The breakfast was excellent. We ate out in Windsor in the evening so I can't comment on the restaurant. It's located on a main road near a roundabout, as I recall, but they offered a good deal with Legoland tickets included in the price.

My parents stayed at The Marriott near Slough and it was fine.
