Bitacora Hotel in Tenerife - anyone been?

We're going at the end of August. Some of the recent reviews are quite mixed on TA.

Have had a look at the TA reviews and the complaints seem to be fairly trivial.
Most report that its clean, food is ok etc.

I think as long as you know what youre getting then it will be fine. Playa Americas isnt my cup of tea but if you like busy resorts then thats fine. Also hotel looks very big and busy, but again if thats for you im sure you will enjoy

I think it's in a quieter area of Playa (although that will not mean really quiet of course). Tbh I really liked the look of the hotel when I booked it - I've chosen somewhere a bit busier so we don't get bored. I can take or leave busy or quiet so don't think that will be an issue.
