try skyscanner Searches all available flights and gives you the cheapest.

airline-network have been pretty good for us, but depends where you want to go to.

xl.com is good & do there are always discount codes flying about I saved £45 last year with one. Cheapflights give you links to all the websites & telephone numbers too if you're a little nervous doing it all online.

Witht he cheap airlines particularly I find it easier and often just as cheaper , if not cheaper, to book direct with them on their own websites.

Whatever you do beware airmiles. They've just phoned to say the flights we booked in Sept 05 to Valencia August 06 are now cancelled. We just booked the villa 2 weeks ago. As you can imagine I am fuming

We find lastminute cheapest. We've booked v cheap flights for this year through them with iberia.
