We are taking twin dd aged 6 abroad for the first time. Thinking of end may / beg june (half term) for 10 days. We were thinking of balearics, any ideas on location (children want a hotel with lots of other children).

We went to Majorca last year for our first family holiday abroad. 2 year old ds was a bit of a pain in the backside to be honest with the heat and water but our 6 year old DD LOVED it and had a lovely time.

Ours loved the long beach just south of Alcudia (Playa da Muro). There were several hotels facing straight onto the beach including several Iberostars and Thomson ones, with playgrounds, pools and kids clubs. About an hour's drive from Palma airport.
